We’re looking for FIVE CommUNITY Activists

Body Politic is touring our latest production THEM to venues across the UK this spring. THEM is a hop hop dance theatre production with a driving electronic score which delves into the aftermath and mental health of three young women who have experienced misogyny, sexual violence or abuse.

We’re looking for five CommUNITY Activists to support us to reach and engage individuals and community groups from your local area who may be exposed to or impacted by the themes contained in THEM.

This short-term, paid role would suit individuals who enjoy networking and anyone who wants to contribute to conversations currently affecting young people aged 14+.  You don’t need a background in dance (although this would be helpful). Nor do you need any previous experience. We’re more interested in your passion, enthusiasm and ideas to encourage young people and groups who wouldn’t normally engage with the arts to come to see THEM.

Please apply if you live, study or work near these venues and are available to work with us in the period leading up to and including the date of the performance. These are:
