Emma-Jane Greig
Artistic Director
After graduating with BSc (Hons) in Psychology from the University of Manchester, Emma-Jane founded professional hip hop theatre company, Body Politic.
Dance has always been such an important tool for Emma-Jane. It has allowed her to challenge perceptions, explore new ideas and work with others to identify other forms of creative expression.
Emma-Jane is very proud to be one of the only female hip hop theatre makers touring work outside of London.

Jennie Gentles
Marketing and Engagement Manager
Jennie has over twenty years experience of working in the arts. She values
the arts and strongly believes they enhance and can make a real difference to
communities and peoples lives. She’s passionate about audience
development and supporting organisations to grow and diversify their
audience base. She has a strong commitment to enhancing digital
communications to support brand development and social engagement.

Kyron Anthony

Natalie Wong
Hip Hop Dance Teacher
Natalie trained at the University of East London studying Urban Dance Practice graduating in class of 2020. Alongside this Natalie has taught for Body Politic Dance, Momentum Dance Academy and was an enabler for the Parasol Project Dance.

Kiyana, 15, has been dancing for BP for 3 years now. One thing she has particularly enjoyed doing for the company is being a young leader.
