Body politic youth

youth COMPANY (15-25yrs)

Body Politic YOUTH Body Politic’s very own youth company for dancers aged 15-25 yrs.

The programme has been designed to provide opportunities for young dancers to train and develop as performers, dancers, and choreographers through the fusion of hip-hop, and dance theatre.

This programme is led by Artistic Director, Emma-Jane Morbey and includes collaborations with some of the UK’s leading Hip Hop Dance artists. Across programme, dancers will work to create innovative performances and digital works performed both regionally and locally. Dancers will explore their own creative practice, broaden their understanding of hip hop foundations and build their own identity as a young artist.

All of our practitioners work hard to share their expertise, nurture talent, and create a supportive environment for young artists to flourish.

The programme will be delivered for 2 hours per week on Wednesday evenings and will start in September 2024.

This programme will be relaunching in September 2024. Stay tuned for more information.
