youth COMPANY (15-25yrs)
Body Politic YOUTH Body Politic’s very own youth company for dancers aged 15-25 yrs.
The programme has been designed to provide opportunities for young dancers to train and develop as performers, dancers, and choreographers.
This programme is led by professional dance artist, Ella Goodwin. Dancers will explore their own creative practice, broaden their understanding of hip hop foundations and build their own identity as a young artist.
All of our practitioners work hard to share their expertise, nurture talent, and create a supportive environment for young artists to flourish.
The programme will be delivered for 2 hours per week on Wednesday evenings during term time.
Our Autumn term is now full. Audition for January term will take place on 7th December, 3:30-5:30pm
The programme includes:
- Weekly training with industry professionals
- Performance opportunities (local and regional)
- Mentoring and support
- Discount on further training and activities.

Venue: Pegasus Theatre, Magdalen Road, OX4 1RE
Time: Wednesdays, 6:45-8:45pm.
Important Information:
- Please note that this programme is for young people with dance experience. Please click here for classes that are suitable for all levels.
- Spaces for Body Politic YOUTH will be capped at 20 to ensure that we are able to nurture and prioritise the needs of each dancer.
- Dancers must commit to a full term (12 weeks). Unfortunately, we are not able to offer spaces on a week-by-week basis.
