theFOUNDATION 2.0

We have waited a long time to relaunch theFOUNDATION and are pleased to say it’s coming home to Oxford.

theFOUNDATION offers dancers the opportunity to learn new skills and understanding of hip hop foundations. From breaking, to popping, theFOUNDATION offers Beginner/Intermediate dancers a safe and supportive environment to try something new.

Joining our faculty are some of the industry’s top movement artists, specialising in Hip Hop Foundations including Amanda Pefkou, Far From The Norm, Luke Lentes, Jamaal O’Driscoll and more!

But it is more than just learning steps, theFOUNDATION is a family that encourages you to thrive and grow beyond the studio. Body Politic works hard to create an inclusive environment in all of their sessions. This programme has been curated to support, inspire and provide new opportunities for the city and we’d love you to be a part of it.

Over the course of the six sessions you’ll learn a wide range of Hip Hop Foundations including, Krump, Hip Hop, Breaking, introduction to Freestyle and more.

Sessions will be delivered on the following dates:
