BODY POLITIC SUMMER CAMP 2024 (Ages 7-11yrs)

5th-9th August
at pegasus theatre, OX4 1RE
Start this summer with a week of fun, fitness, dance and creativity for ages 7-11yrs

Body Politic are back with another brilliant and vibrant Summer Camp this August. We have once again joined forces with our friends Pegasus Theatre, Fusion Arts and Project PT to offer five days of hip hop dance, fitness & boxing sessions, t-shirt designing, and a special end-of-week performance. We’re also providing lunch/tea and snacks, so let us know any allergies and dietary requirements.

Our dance sessions will be led by our brilliant Body Politic artists, who work hard to create fun and inclusive environments for every participant. Your child will have the opportunity to learn new dance routines, improve technique and create their own moves which will be showcased at the end of the week performance.

We are also really excited to be working alongside our friends Project PT; an inclusive local gym who aim to bring health and fitness to everyone regardless of age, ability or background. Across the five days Project PT will provide boxing, lifting and sport skills classes for participants. We believe that using dance and fitness is a fun and creative combination to improve coordination, boost physical and emotional wellbeing and produce happy young people!

Overall she loved it and I enjoyed the end of camp performance. Our daughter Is very keen to join you for another holiday camp.”

Parent

Such an excellent combination and so pleased to find a friendly clever organised club for teenagers.

Parent

I was really impressed with this camp. My daughter loved the dancing and the boxing and as it started at 1pm I didn’t have any battles getting her out of bed! She is now interested in future hip hop dance classes, and I would definitely book this again.

Parent

A well thought through mix of activities that encourages fitness in a fun and engaging way and builds confidence to share new skills in performance. A real mix of activities and lots of positive but subtle messages around nutrition, health & wellness.
