Changes to Oxford Classes

As some of you may know, I recently received funding from Oxford City Council to run a 12-month dance project in three regeneration areas in Oxford; Black Bird Leys, Rose Hill and Wood Farm. The project aims to use dance as a vehicle to address the growing prevalence of mental health issues in young people. It’s a very exciting project and one that I hope to continue to grow over the twelve months.

As a consequence, my regular Oxford classes will be changing somewhat. I am super sad about this! These classes have inspired me and kept my passion for the arts alive. I have met some wonderful people (you!) and I am very grateful for all of your support and kindness you have shown. There may be a few tears shed on my last class at Pegasus (weep!)

Catch my last few classes here:

YOGA: Monday 3rd April6-7:15pm (continues after the Easter break as normal)
FITNESS & TONE: Tuesday 25th April 7-8pm & Tuesday 2nd May 7-8pm
ADULT BEGINNER STREET: Tuesday 25th April 8-9pm & Tuesday 2nd May 8-9pm

NEW CLASS SCHEDULE STARTING 15TH MAY 2017

I’ve managed to wiggle things around so that I can keep two classes running (wahoo!). Please see below for more information:

  • YOGA: Mondays, 6-7:15pm, £10
  • FITNESS & TONE: Mondays 7:30-8:30pm, £6

Both classes will be held at Richard Benson Hall, 271 Cowley Road (opposite Atomic Pizza). You can find more information on my website here.

I am also moving away from the online booking system due to an increase in hosting fees. As a consequence I will be going back to ‘old skool’ methods of pen, paper and cash only! Classes will be running every week during term time. If in doubt, please check the website for more information.

If you have any questions about any of the above please do drop me an email at emj@bodypoliticdance.com I’d love to hear from you!
